Every year SSC Conducts exam for SSC posts in the department of Central government and provides ample opportunities for candidates of both graduate and 10+2 level. SSC is an all over India based organization which conducts exams for the Indian students by the Indian government for recruitment in various departments for the various posts.
The SSC committee was established in 1967-1968 for selecting students for lower categories like clerk grade etc. and then after the On 4th november 1975 it was named as Subordinate Services Commission and later on 26 September 1977 it was renamed as STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION. Its headquarters are in new delhi and regional offices are all over the India.
The basic objective for this organization is to make recruitment for the various government jobs technical or non-technical specified in group A or B in various ministries like Ministry of affairs, Railway departments, CBI, Income tax ministry etc.
Exams Conducts by SSC
- SI in CAPF , ASI in CAPF and SI in Delhi Police
- Combined Graduate level
- Combined Higher secondary examination
- Constable Examination
- Junior Engineer
- Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D'
- Junior Hindi Translator in sub ordinate office
- Multi tasking (Non technical) exam
To apply in various SSC exams candidates has to fill the application form by paying the particular fees and the fees is exempted for the girls candidates.The candidate can appear in the exam if only he/she fulfills the eligibility for that particular exam. The exams are conducted all over the India on particulars dates provided by SSC.
Exam is conducted in two levels Written exam and Personal Interview and each wrong answer is deducted by some negative marking. Written exam includes a particular syllabus to be covered by the candidates including Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude and English.
SSC Calendar 2016 :-
SSC has declared to conduct various upcoming exams in the year 2016 for various posts so that its an opportunity for the candidates who were not able to clear the exam till now.
- Recruitment in SI in CAPF,ASI in CISF and SI in Delhi Police conducted to be in may 2016.
- CGL Tier-1 2016 to be conducted in June 2016.
- CGL 10+2 to be conducted in July/August.
- Junior Engineer exam to be conducted in August 2016.
- Stenographer Grade C & D to be conducted in September 2016.
- Junior Hindi Translator to be conducted in September 2016.
- Multitasking staff to be conducted in November 2016.
