Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts
Combined Defence Service Exam (CDS exam) every year two times
CDS 1 Exam and CDS 2 exam. UPSC CDS Paper. Recently department released

CDS Exam basically a written exam paper which contains
Objective type questions with time duration of 02 hours. qualified candidates
will be shortlist for Interview. candidates must check “Exam pattern of CDS

UPSC CDS Exam Paper Pattern | Scheme Details
UPSC CDS Exam pattern is a objective type paper pattern which
includes 03 subjects English , General knowledge and Elementary Mathematics and
Total of marks is 300. All subjects have same 100 marks and time duration of CDS
1 exam is 02 hours. And Participants who are appearing for Officer Training Exam
(OTA Exam) they face English and General Knowledge paper only. Those candidates
who Successfully qualified in written exam they will called for intelligence and
personality test at Service Selection Board (SSC).

Note :- CDS General Knowledge Paper & Elementary
mathematics paper will be set in both language Hindi and English.
Maximum marks for CDS written exam and for SSB Interview will be same for all courses. And Highest marks will be given in written exam and SSB Interview is 300 each for AFA , IMA , INA. And Maximum 200 marks for OTA Exam. Only Qualified candidates of written exam are permitted for Second round exam of Interview. And for final result candidates must qualify in both exams 1. written exam 2. SSB Test. After final qualification qualified candidates will be placed for merit according to store marks in both test levels.
